Rob Roskopp is a former pro skater and the co-founder of Santa Cruz Bicycles.
Rob’s name is firmly tied to the Santa Cruz Brand
First, since he became a legend of the sport with his iconic Pro Model board, a masterpiece that captured the essence of skateboarding in the eighties.
Second, because he spent 20 years as the CEO of Santa Cruz Bicycles after co-founding the company in 93.
It would be pretty common today, but it’s worth remembering that the first bike that Rob released with Santa Cruz in 93 was a full-suspension model
That gives you a sense of how visionary he already was at that time.
